The IMI Defense offers a USGI-type replacement handguard tailored for your carbine's original setup. Crafted from durable fiberglass-reinforced, injection-molded polymer, this handguard ensures exceptional impact and abrasion resistance, catering to rigorous conditions and applications.
Designed with attention to detail, the handguard features a ridged gripping surface and strategically positioned top and bottom vent holes. These elements not only enhance grip and control but also maintain the firearm's authentic military appearance. Additionally, the inclusion of an internal lightweight aluminum heat shield serves to protect the user's hand from the heat emanating from the barrel during extended firing sessions.
For enhanced thermal insulation, the M4 Mid model comes equipped with standard-issue single heat shields. This feature is particularly beneficial during sustained rapid or full-auto firing, ensuring optimal performance and user comfort in demanding scenarios.
