The concept of conversion kits invented to help handgun users to maximize the accuracy potential of their firearm.
Theoretically speaking, a 9mm bullet fired from a handgun can be effective up to a range of around 100 meters in terms of velocity and ballistic trajectory. However, in real life, shooting a handgun effectively doesn’t exceed 20-25 meters, and the effective range for accurate shooting in real time situations is typically around 8-12 meters. This gap between the potential efficiency range and and the practical range is largely due to how the handgun is held (with extended arms). the limited sight picture and the difficulty of acquiring a target, especially in rapid-fire situations make handgun shooting somewhat challenging.

What is a Conversion Kit and What is it Good For?

Conversion kits were created specifically to address the unique characteristics of handgun shooting described above. The primary purpose of all conversion kits is to increase the effective shooting range by improving the interface between the weapon and the shooter’s body.

How is This Achieved?

• Grip Improvement – Instead of holding a bare handgun with outstretched, unsteady arms, the conversion kit is held to the body similar to a long gun. It includes a stock, a grip, a cheek rest and a rail.
• Enhanced Sight Picture – The top Picatinny rail enables the attachment of front and rear sights, or alternatively, a red dot sight, laser, or other aiming device.
• Burst Fire Control – The ergonomic shoulder stock and forward grip nearly eliminate handgun recoil, allowing for rapid, efficient, and highly accurate consecutive shots. Groupings improve dramatically with a conversion kit.
