Description

The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for the Beretta Cougar 8000F is designed as a direct replacement for the factory recoil rod without modifying the pistol’s configuration. This innovative system utilizes a multi-spring intricate rod, featuring three springs, to control recoil and enhance the overall functionality of the firearm. In certain cases, the system generates nearly double the force at the end of the slide’s full open position compared to the standard OEM spring, effectively acting as a buffer on the slide.

As a result, the slide operates more smoothly, with less recoil, and comes to a controlled stop on the frame. This not only improves the shooting experience but also ensures that the moving parts of the pistol are well-protected, thus extending the life of the firearm.
