This recoil system operates through a multi-spring intricate rod mechanism, featuring three internal springs that effectively manage the pistol’s recoil dynamics. The third spring, which is housed within the rod, plays a crucial role in regulating slide movement, preventing excessive impact on the pistol’s frame. This unique design contributes to smoother slide cycling, improved firing stability, and reduced wear and tear on internal components.
To further customize the pistol’s recoil characteristics, the system includes a spring plug and two external springs of varying lengths. The longer external spring exerts greater force when the slide is in battery, offering enhanced recoil absorption and slide control. Important Note: The included spring plug must always be installed when using the DPM Recoil Reduction Rod and springs.
