The DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System is a high-performance upgrade for the Beretta 92 FS Compact and Taurus PT92CS, providing a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod without altering the pistol’s configuration. This system incorporates a multi-spring rod designed to absorb recoil forces, offering smoother slide movement and reducing the impact on the frame. The system includes a washer that must always be installed for proper functionality when using the DPM Recoil Rod and its springs.

The system features different external springs, each providing varying levels of resistance based on the shooter’s preferences and needs. The short external spring provides lighter resistance, while the long spring provides greater resistance. This allows users to fine-tune the recoil system for optimal performance at different stages of the slide’s movement, ensuring smoother operation and better control during shooting.
