Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Remove the magazine from the pistol.

2. Ensure the magazine is completely unloaded.

3. Press one of the magazine’s locking tabs using the tool’s pin.

4. Compress the spring and original locking plate.

5. Remove the original floor plate.

6. Install the new floor plate carefully.

7. Verify the new floor plate is securely locked in place.
