Why Adapters for Vortex Venom / Viper are necessary? 

Vortex Veno, & Viper sights are designed to fit specific pistols. However, if the sight you wish to purchase isn’t perfectly compatible with your pistol, you can use an adapter to ensure a proper fit. Please make sure to choose the adapter that matches your pistol based on the following details:

Distributors and dealers in other countries where you made your purchase may apply service charges due to different rules and regulations in that country.
