The DPM Mechanical Walther P88 Full Size Recoil Spring System – Captured Version – is designed specifically for this pistol model, featuring a rod length of 3.1 inches (81 mm). It is easy to install on the frame and effortlessly assemble the slide with the frame.

Its operates through a multi-spring intricate rod (3 springs). In some cases, it offers almost double the force in the slide at the end of the full open position compared to the factory OEM spring. As a result, it functions like a buffer on the slide.

As a result of the above effect, the slide stops smoothly on the frame, offering less recoil. Furthermore, the moving parts of the pistol are protected, thus extending the pistol’s lifespan.
