Description
The DPM Mechanical Walther P99 (& others) Recoil Reduction Springs System is a direct replacement for the stock recoil rod and does not change the configuration of the pistol.
It works due to the multi spring intricate rod (3 springs) and controls the functionality of the pistol. Notably, the third spring which is contained within the rod controls the movement of the slide so it never rams on the frame. Moreover, the system includes 1 spring plug and 3 different external springs.
The spring plug must always be installed when the DPM Recoil Rod and springs are used.
Also the external springs differ in length; specifically, the long spring is heavy, whereas the short one is light. Consequently, the shooter can fine-tune the pistol for the opening and locking positions (slide on the battery) according to his or her personal standards.
As always, DPM products are designed and developed with user’s safety as a priority. Exceptional manufacturing and engineering using high-end materials.
